As a sort-of attempt at practicing self care after I come home from work, I light a candle (Lemon Lavender, it smells so goooood!), have a cup of tea and rub some handcream on as I catch up with social media, fic, an anime or w/e. And there have been days I came back drained, or cranky (caused by my family) and I felt better within 20 minutes. Like, spirits lifted, crankiness mellowed tf out. It's nice having a bit of a routine that's both reward and repair.
